Bones of Spine

The human spine, also known as the vertebral column, is made up of 33 individual bones called vertebrae. These vertebrae are divided into five regions cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal. The spine provides structural support, protects the spinal cord, and allows for flexibility and movement. Understanding the bones of the spine is essential for maintaining good posture and overall spinal health.
